Flexibility

One of the most inspiring things about bamboo is how they sway in even the gentlest breeze. This swaying is a symbol of humility. Their structure is firm and yet sway gently in the breeze while they stay rooted firmly on the ground. In time, even the strongest wind tires itself out, but the bamboo remains standing tall and strong.

A bend-but-don't-break attitude is one of the secrets for success whether it is bamboo trees, professional matters, or just dealing with everyday life.

Small Yet Strong

The structure of a single bamboo tree is not large by any means when compared to the other much larger trees in the forest. It may not look striking at all. But these plants bear cold winters and hot summers and are sometimes the only trees left standing in the aftermath of a storm. Bamboo is not as delicate as it may appear, not by a long shot. We must be careful not to underestimate others or ourselves based on old notions of what is feeble and what is strong.

Never Give Up

In winter the heavy snow bends the bamboo more and more until one day the snow becomes too heavy and begins to fall. The bamboo then snaps back up tall again, brushing aside all the snow. The bamboo bore the heavy burden of the snow, but in the end it had the power to spring back saying ‘Never give up’. 
We contribute our best in whatever we do and are not dismayed by our failures. We learn from our failures and spring back and try again till we succeed

Knowledge

The first step to learning is to empty ourselves of our preconceived notions. No one can fill a cup which is already full. The hollow inner sides of the bamboo remind us that we are often too full of ourselves and our perceptions that we have no space for anything else. In order to attain knowledge and wisdom from both nature and people, we have to be open to that which is new and different. When you empty your mind of your prejudgments, arrogance, and fear, you become open to the knowledge.

Committed to Growth

Bamboo trees are one of the fastest-growing plants in the world. It does not matter who you are or where you are today, you have amazing potential for growth. We usually speak of continuous progress that is more stable and incremental, where big leaps and bounds are not necessary. Even though the bamboo outside my window grows quite rapidly, I do not notice its growth every day. Even when we are making progress, we may not notice our own improvement. 

Simplicity

Often we complicate simple things to impress. We also fail to simplify complex things out of fear that others may know what we know. Life, weather personal or professional, is complex enough. If we could do away with our fear, perhaps we could be more imaginative and find simpler solutions to intricate problems. We believe in the power of simplicity and it proves to be the greatest asset for our team, our customers, and all stakeholders.
